The relentless fight, against breast cancer

Breast cancer is the leading cause of death in the female population worldwide.

According to statistics issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO), 1 in 12 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.

Currently, progress in breast cancer research has helped to boost the survival rate and reduce the number of deaths from breast cancer.

Early detection of breast cancer is fundamental in the prognosis of the disease, considerably increasing the chances of recovery.

Every year we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness day to raise awareness and promote the fight against breast cancer. At Analiza we help to disseminate the value of prevention in addition to conducting early detection tests.

At centres like the Príncipe de Vergara centre, mammograms and ultrasound examinations are conducted and all our laboratories can conduct genetic tests to determine genetic predisposition.
