• The prize-giving, in recognition of the best doctoral thesis from the Medical Faculty in Zaragoza, took place during the inauguration of the new academic year at the Royal Academy of Medicine in Zaragoza.
• During the session, Dr. Antonio M. Ballesta, Medical Director of Analiza, was presented with the diploma accrediting him as Corresponding Member.

​The prize-giving of the annual awards recognising the academic excellence of health professionals trained at the University of Zaragoza took place at the Royal Academy of Medicine in Zaragoza during the official inauguration of the new academic year 2022.

The Analiza & Montpellier Laboratory Award for the best PhD viva at the Medical Faculty in Zaragoza, went to Dr. Sara Ruiz Martínez for her thesis “CLINICAL IMPACT OF THE METHODOLOGICAL QUALITY OF FETAL DOPPLER STANDARDS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF FETAL GROWTH RESTRICTION”.

This is the first time a thesis with an international mention has been given the award.

The Awards Committee is made up of eminent persons from the academic sector in the field of health and members of the sponsoring companies.

During the session, Dr. Antonio M. Ballesta, medical director of Analiza, was presented with the diploma accrediting him as Corresponding Member, as decided by the Governing Board last December.
