What is the legal legitimacy for the processing of your data?

The legal standing that enables the Centre to process patient details is based on:

  • Consent to provide clinical analysis and pathological anatomy services, and to send marketing communications and release  data to third parties.

  • Legitimate interest to send the patient information related to our services and medical improvements offered by the Centre, and to gauge patient satisfaction with the care provided.

In both instances, the interested party will need to provide a photocopy of their National Identity Document, together with the corresponding letter.

You will be able to make a complaint to the competent Supervisory Authority regarding data protection at any time. However, in the first instance, you will be able to make a complaint to the Data Protection Officer, who will respond to the complaint within two months.
