Breath test for HELICOBACTER PYLORI detection
Finalidad:
Test indicated to find out if gastric discomfort is related to the presence of Helicobacter Pylori bacteria in your stomach.
Preparación:
• The test should be performed on an empty stomach. Refrain from eating or smoking for 6 hours prior to the test.
• Do not take antibiotics during the month prior to the test, always consult your doctor beforehand.
• Do not take omeprazole, lansoprazole, esomeprazole, pantoprazole, or any other proton pump inhibitor during the previous 15 days, always consult your doctor beforehand.
• Whether brushing teeth is allowed.
• Whether drinking water is allowed.
• No physical exercise for at least 30 minutes prior to the test.

approximately 10 minutes

DURING THE TEST:
• No chewing gum, eating, drinking or smoking.
• Must remain at rest during the test
